About this site
What From Here, Anywhere does and who it is for.
Your next chapter may be the one you enjoy most. From Here, Anywhere shows how much money to bring to live at a level of life you choose, in places around the world, for as many years as you choose, and what that life looks like once you are there.
Who it is for
Older people from Western countries, in the top fifth of incomes where they live, who want to keep the life they have now when they retire abroad. A level of life here is measured against the people of each country, so the same money can buy a higher level in one country and a lower level in another.
What we do
You choose a level of life, the number of people in your household, how long the money should last and when you stop working. For every country we work out the money to bring so that it lasts exactly that long, with the money held in bonds. The numbers come from public sources, listed on Taxes and data sources. From the map you can open a country, then a city, then a neighborhood, to see homes, restaurants and daily life at the level you chose.
